As a regular visitor to Ayr Craigie Gardens over the past 6 years we have always found the wardens to be polite, helpful & friendly. The site is within walking distance to Ayr town centre where you will find ample places to go for a nice meal. Ayr also has a long sandy beach which never feels crowded. A short stroll from the site takes you to Ayr River with nice walks in both directions. The wardens keep the site and particularly the facilities block as clean as possible considering its age. The toilet and showers would greatly benefit from some refurbishment. In oir opinion this would turn the site from being a good one to being outstanding.
