My second visit to this site, it’s a great stop off and plenty to see and do in the area. This time I visited Glasgow by train. Some reviews have stated the facilities are tired but that’s purely cosmetics. Very clean and perfectly acceptable so please don’t be put off by the comments. Access is easy, the town is a short walk away via the river path. I received a very friendly welcome, the wardens were helpful when I asked about Glasgow and the trains (they told me a derelict hotel had recently caught fire and damaged part of the station but it’s all up and running. The line is now fully electric and trains run direct to Glasgow). I highly recommend this site.
