This is the first time we have been here booked for two nights. No information was given when we booked in at reception. I picked a leaflet up of a table. The site is behind the university. Was not straight forward to find maybe some better signage? The toilet block needs a big upgrade. out of the four showers only two had a seat. The water from the showers sprayed out under the door and made the corridor very wet. If you were a little unsteady this could be off putting. Showers etc were clean, at one time you could see they had a shower curtain which is no longer there. Ayr itself is very run down I felt you had to be aware of where you were walking I would not have walked on my own. We did find the staff not as friendly as other sites we have stopped on. This is one site we will not be returning too.
