Disappointed in this site. On arrival we were informed there were some noisy pitches and told where to avoid pitching. There was a group of pitches which looked like permanent pitches that had a lot of people coming and going, cars constantly arriving and leaving and doing a circuit of the site. They had a dog that barked on and off for hours. Warden said there was nothing she could do!! Toilet and shower block dated and at certain times dirty. Wi-Fi didn’t work and problems with hot water. Walk along the river to town was terrifying with people who had taken drugs and a fair amount of homeless people. The surrounding area to Ayr beautiful but the town was very run down and not a nice place to visit.
