We spent a few days here for some "enforced relaxation" and were not disappointed. The site is really nice, small and quiet with great wardens. The facilities are pretty standard , pitches are level and well spaced, and we were on one that did not have falling leaves (good - it was just that time of year). Marie was a great warden for us (and our dog). Ashwell is a very nice small village with excellent shops and pubs and has quite a few attractions and local walks (all of which are detailed in the information sheets). We will certainly stay again and highly recommend this site.
