We enjoyed our stay at this site, but our initial welcome was very poor. We unfortunately arrived 10 minutes before the arrival time of 1pm. We waited until the office opened at 1pm which then had a barrier across the door so we were unsure as to whether to stay in our motorvan during covid times. Both the younger male and female warden walked straight past me without a word and noses in the air before opening the office door. We continued to stay by the van for 10 more minutes to hear the male warden swearing loudly using the f word. Now 1.10pm and 2 more vans pulling up behind us we thought safely we should go to the office door. After being in the club for more than 30 years this has been the most shambolic welcome we've experienced. Added to this grass fingers definitely needed cutting, but was sorted by a much more friendly elderly warden during the week. This was a pleasant end to our stay.
