We've stayed here a couple of times now as it isn't too far from home. We stay here to do walks in the area rather than travelling from home each time. The site is lovely, very quiet, great pitches and clean facilities. TV signal is great. Some pitches are in the sun all day, some for a few hours in the day it all depends on the time of the year that you visit. Plenty of places to walk the pooch and loads of long walks/hikes nearby. Ashwell is within walking distance. There are 3 pubs, all used to sell food but there had recently been a hike in their rents which has resulted in 1 shutting until further notice, another (Rose & Crown) currently only selling drinks and the Three Tuns selling drink and food (although this may change soon). Such a shame as the pubs are lovely. Not far from Royston and Baldock where there are plenty of supermarkets. One negative comment about our recent visit. The wardens were not the friendliest. They were not rude they just didn't seem to want to interact. Other than that one thing its a brilliant site.
