The site is small and well maintained. It offers no more than a CL. There are two showers so we just used our own. The village is lovely, we watched a cricket match, but really there is very little in the area just very "beige" towns. Anywhere of interest is too far for motorhomers and really would be better off staying at a site nearer these places. As an overnight stop it is ok, but as a holiday destination forget it. It is overpriced for what it offers. This site is owned by a commercial enterprise and this site does not offer value for money.

I think you have totally missed the point with this site. On the edge of a lovely English village, walks across fabulous arable land from the site entrance. If as you point out being a ‘Motorhomer’ should maybe stay nearer busy ‘towns’ rather then quaint unspoilt villages and leave these ‘CL’ quality sites, invested if probably owned by the club, to those who actually appreciate them!

Surely you did some research before visiting, jkw, so you had an idea of what the locality has to offer?

Your comment about places of interest being too far for MHs puzzles me. The whole point of a MH is to drive it. One end of the country to the other is no problem.

Ah, well, each to their own.
