Have just come back from a thoroughly pleasant weekend at Ashridge Farm. Having read a review about aircraft noise I was surprised that we weren't bothered by it at all. Yes, there is some light and occasional noise but the aircraft are not exactly into their final descent on to the runway. The site was small and peaceful so would probably not appeal to families. There were no children about when we were there. Plenty of dogs though and with plenty of places to walk then this is a good location to stay. The village (about a 10 minute walk to the centre) was very attractive and the three pubs offered something different and were great. The whole ambience of the site was fresh and clean and the flower beds were beautiful. Would definitely come back again in the future.
