Altnahara is a wonderful little site in a fantastic setting. The pitches are close together but the wonderful location more than makes up for this. If you can manage without it, the electric free pitches are lovely. The wardens are extrememly friendly and very helpful.  They couldn't have been nicer when we had to leave early due to the awful weather forecast.  My children loved the site, with fishing and swimming right from the doorstep. Its a long way to a shop so remember to stock up, although the wardens do have a supply of frozen bacon, rolls, long life milk, icecreams, etc. We are already looking forward to returning next year.
