We were so lucky to have had a pitch right by the loch and could hear the gentle lapping due to the wonderful tranquillity there. Nature and wildlife were all around and fortunately the  midges had not yet made an appearance. Our 3 dogs loved it too, including our 2 very old dachshunds, who unlike our youngster couldn't walk far but still enjoyed a sniff outside the site gates. The wardens were extremely friendly  (to our 4 legged babe's too!) and we can't sing their praises enough, enjoying some lovely chats together. The roads there are only single track with passing places, but scenery is stunning and well worth the trouble.
