Kenny greeted us as we arrived and showed us the available pitches. We then met his wife Laura, and the "boys". Both lovely, friendly people, who gave us all the local info. After chatting for a bit, we pitched up and admired our view. The drive in, is single track with passing places and the views are spectacular. The Strathaven trail is on your doorstep, cameras at the ready, for red deer, squirrels, pine Martins and birds too numerous to mention. As dog owners, we'd like to point out that ticks are a problem. So please check your dogs after your walks. As per guide book, the site has no toilet block, but does have chemical disposal, motorhome service point and electricity. What more do you need to enjoy life.
