Quiet

We stayed have at short notice at the beginning of November and found the site easily following the instructions on the site details, although the road along Gatton Bottom does get a bit narrow at a couple of points. The barriers were not working (seems to be a common problem to some sites),but at least one warden was around the reception during the day. The site is within the M25 but not in the Low Emission Zone. I couldn't hear any road or airplane noise, just the birds. Didn't see any deer but I expect they were close by. The parakeets (or is it parrots) were making their presence known during our walks around the site. There seems to be quite a few seasonal pitched caravans but they are spread out so don't seem so intrusive to the general atmosphere of the place. Yes we will be back as it is a good base for visiting London and NT sites nearby.
