We stayed between Christmas and new year with friends. The site wardens were so friendly and accommodating, and pitched us together adjacent to our friends. The children were made welcome too, and immediately given chocolate santas from their Christmas tree! The play area was just behind where we were pitched and was perfect for our children's age ranges. Despite being almost full, the campsite was so quiet and peaceful. We loved the Heath behind the site and took our bikes out several times. The shower block and amenities were warm and spotlessly clean, although we understand they are due to be replaced shortly. Everyone was so friendly and when we decided to stay an extra night, we were offered extra food supplies from our fellow campers! We will definitely return as we are fairly local and it's perfect for a quick weekend away for a change of scenery, but would recommend wholeheartedly to those further afield. It's location is superb.  Thanks to all at Alderstead Heath, we were made so very welcome.
