We have used Alderstead Heath a few times now at the beginning and end of each season and enjoyed ourselves. We use it as it's close to where we live and store the caravan but it offers everything we need in a short break. Despite it's closeness to the M25 and M23 you can immerse yourself in the countryside and enjoy walks all round. The Fox inn at Couldsdon South is about 2 miles away and a quick walk across the aptly named Happy Valley. The wardens have always been very helpful and the facilities are fit for purpose. The bottom block is closed in the Winter but with so few people about that doesn't matter at all. We will return!
