Great! Dog owners must visit to walk in the woods, lovely.
Great site, read the other reviews, they are all pretty spot on but we didn't see any building works there and the site was tranquil at all times.
Dog owners take note, this site has a wonderful wooded walks through to local services , it has hard surface walkways through the woods as well, very odd, but a relic from the war?
Talking of which, how sad that the plane that crashed right next to the site in the war, killing the crew, is commemorated only by a damp old piece of A4 paper laminated. (No reflection on the site at all, but its the first thing you see if yo go for a walk in the woods) Come on Surrey, get a plaque at least. (Anyone spoken to the Surrey Royal Air Force Association about this, I am sure they can help to move it on).
The site is immaculate, and the wardens were working non-stop when we were there. Very friendly.
Do take notice of the entry route, don't come in the wrong way down the narrow bit of Deans Lane.
