Easter trip Base for central london
Booked the site to use as we wanted to head into London for sightseeing day trips. Site was easy to find and directions from website spot on. Don't use the satnav once you come off the m25 you will regret it with damage to your caravan or motor home.
First of all a mention to the staff. They were new to the site but were first rate and couldn't be more helpful.
The site is large and spacious with 2 play parks one older and one younger. We had a field to ourselves which was great.
Toilets were clean although a bit dated. The showers were hot and plentiful. Only one shower block was available during our stay as the other was being refurbished, which we feared the worst for noise and disruption. Not one bit of it the workers were quiet and courteous thus ensuring a relaxing holiday.
As we were heading into central London there is a direct line to a taxi firm at reception 6 pound into Coulsdon south and £20.40 on the train to London Bridge for a family of 4 with a rail card.
If there were any minus points about the site it would be that the reception is not stocked as well as others with essentials like bread and butter but then again tesco is only 3 miles away.
All in all a lovely, quiet picturesque site ideal for the family.
Would definatly visit again even from the north east of england
