Peace & Tranquility

This was our second visit to Alderstead Heath & what a fabulous site it is, there is more than enough room on the site to accommodate everybody & it is a Child's dream with an activity area where Dogs are banned from so no fear of getting covered with the nasty stuff, and for the Dog owners there are some great designated walks, for an old codger like me there is total Peace, we were pitched adjacent to the Children hard covered play area but was not disturbed by them. There were 6 wardens on site & every one of them was friendly, helpful & courteous which always makes for a good stay. The site looked in very good condition even though the weather was not perfect, the Wardens still found time to keep the grass mown. Will definitely come to this site again.

A relaxing break

We stayed here on 28th to 30th May, Bank holiday weekend. We rang ahead as the website state work was being carried out. Luckly, the work had finished. On arrival we were greeted with friendly and happy staff. We also asked if we could stay later than 12 on Monday, which we were told was not a problem. We were told we could pick a pitch then inform Reception once we were set up. Despite being Bank Holiday weekend and busy, we were able to find a nice large pitch.  We found the showers and toilets not as modern as some sites but clean and functional. Although, the site was full there was not a problem when wanting to take a shower. Two play areas and somewhere children can play ball. Dog walk was a wooded area with concrete paths, handy when wet. There was also another dog walk through field which we did not use. We will definitely be returning

brilliant wardens on a brilliant site

We have spent many happy stays on this beautifully kept site . During our recent stay I unfortunately suffered a stupid accident , breaking all toes in one foot , but the site wardens couldn't have been more helpful and kind in arranging a taxi to the local A&E and subsequently showing so much kindness , thoughtfulness and care in offering any kind of advice and practical help that they could to assist us in our plight . Sincere thanks to them for helping us to get back home safely . We look forward to the next visit to a highly recommended site .

Super site and area

Just back from a week's stay and despite the poor weather there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. Dog loved the nearby dog walk area. Everywhere kept clean and tidy with friendly and courteous wardens. Would recommend this site?

TV signal

We had problems every night with the signal braking up, this made watching very frustrating. I tried tuning in with the airel in different positions with no luck.

Great site

May bank holiday stay. Great little site toilet block always clean. Site is well kept. The only downfall is the wardens 1 in particular warden with black hair very rude and aggressive. The rest of the wardens are great very helpful. Will be going back.

A hidden gem

We stayed here because we needed to be near the M25 - however we discovered a hidden gem.  Beautiful location, right on the North Downs, superbly friendly wardens and fantastic for dog walking.  The wardens couldn't be any more helpful, both when we had minor problems with the motorvan, and in producing freshly baked bread on demand.  What we thought would e a transit site is now on our "must revisit" list.  Great if you like helicopters by the way......
