We stay here on a fairly regular basis as we have relatives & friends who live nearby & it makes an ideal base to visit them from.
We have always found the site to be well managed & the Wardens very friendly & efficient. Facilities are always clean & well maintained.
We were there over Christmas & enjoyed a very convivial get-together, many thanks.
Looking forward to our next visit already.
Short stay
Great facilities, good tv reception. Very good MHS point. Stayed two nights, mainly to collect a bicycle bought on E-Bay, so did not travel far from site, but suspect travel into London quite easy.
Quiet
We stayed have at short notice at the beginning of November and found the site easily following the instructions on the site details, although the road along Gatton Bottom does get a bit narrow at a couple of points.
The barriers were not working (seems to be a common problem to some sites),but at least one warden was around the reception during the day.
The site is within the M25 but not in the Low Emission Zone. I couldn't hear any road or airplane noise, just the birds. Didn't see any deer but I expect they were close by. The parakeets (or is it parrots) were making their presence known during our walks around the site.
There seems to be quite a few seasonal pitched caravans but they are spread out so don't seem so intrusive to the general atmosphere of the place.
Yes we will be back as it is a good base for visiting London and NT sites nearby.
Mixed feelings about this site
The site is well located with extensive green spaces. The site is run for the benefit of its wardens as opposed to its members. Despite having 6 wardens the office closes far too early as it makes no allowances for the inevitable holdups on both the M23 and M25. The wardens strictly enforce every rule in the book there is no flexibility and often their decisions defy common sense and safety. This is a large site with far too many caravans unoccupied so that is often difficult to make a booking. There are also too many pitches allocated to workers with vans.

Redhill site
We like this site for the location close to redhill as my wife works close to the site and I can relax and enjoy the walks around and about, you will need a car if you want to get to redhill or anywhere else the site again is well kept and the wardens were friendly,it's a large site with grass and hard standing, can take RV's.

Excellent
Stayed here for 4 nights during oct half term with our two toddlers. Great location in a gorgeous leafy area but not far from M25 and surrounding towns like Banstead for convenience. Follow caravan club site directions for access as there is another very narrow and busy lane leading to the site which would be tricky to negotiate when towing. Lovely choice of pitches and there are two kids play areas and good toilet/washroom facilities. Due to location there is an excellent circular nature walk around the area...ask wardens for map and details but it literally just starts as you exit the site barrier. It is too long to do the entire walk with toddlers but we did the start of it and it led us through lovely woods and fields.
The site is minutes from Merstham train station where we left the car for around £6 per day and trains leave very frequently and go directly into London, Victoria which was fab! We caught a commuter train around 8.30am but plenty of parking and were in London just after 9am. Visited legoland also which is around 50 mins away but a straightforward journey back along m25. All in all a perfect family break away where you can have a mixture of peace and quiet in the country but close to lots of amenities and things to do with kids.
Very pleasant
we have stayed here twice this year for long weekends. the staff are very friendly and helpful, the site is spotless, there is work being done but that hasn't caused any problems, pizza van that visits is fantastic. only slight problem is getting there. don't follow the SAT NAV, we called the site and they explained the route in (very helpful). we will be back

Access is not straightforward
A lovely spacious site with very helpful and pleasant staff. the advised approach is a bit tedious. We made the serious mistake of approaching the site from the west via Dean Lane at rush hour - under no circumstances repeat our mistake.

Surprisingly pleasant and peaceful.
Located close to the motorway network and other busy A roads it was a lovely surprise to discover how peaceful and pleasant this site is.
The site is spacious and well laid out. The facilities are excellent. Site security is impressive.
The site is convenient for a good many National Trust properties as well as other attractions.
The access from the M25 is a bit of a pain as you have to travel a couple of miles up the A23 and then re-trace your route to gain access from the A23 south bound. Full details are given in the site information in the sites handbook. The process has to be repeated on departure in order to gain access to the M25. Nothing the club can do about that!
All in all however a most enjoyable stay and the site is a real credit to the wardens.
