Because we wanted a few days in London with our Grandchildren we chose to stay on the Abbey Wood site. We usually stay on CL’s as we much prefer the peace and quiet but were pleasantly surprised at Abbey Wood, there is plenty of room, and the facilities are second to none and spotlessly clean. The staff are very pleasant and friendly with a solid willingness to help. The site was very busy with people walking around but there was no noise and no problems sleeping. It is a pleasant ten minute walk to the railway station and the trains into London run frequently, buy a visitors Oyster card for cheaper fares.
