Perfect site for visiting London

We stayed here for the first time at February half term, 2 family caravans with 4 children ranging from 9 to 15. The site is located on the edge of a residential area backing on to woods.  Listen out for the foxes and woodpeckers and see if you can spot the parrots. The site has gentle slops but all pitches are flat and they have a generous amount of hard standing pitches. The toilet blocks are clean and functional. Each morning we took a short walk to the train station where you can catch a direct train to either Charing Cross or Cannon street stations, journey time approx. 30 minutes (coming back there is a train every 10 minutes from Cannon street). We used a family rail card which can be purchased for a small fee but it made the cost of 2 adults and 4 children for an all-day travel card (bus and tube included) £25.00!! If you don’t fancy a trip in to the capital each day Greenwich is a short bus ride or train ride away, with its market, naval college, royal observatory and the Cutty Sark in residence, you can also pop to the Thames Barrier.   There is also the DLR service at Greenwich which will take you to Stratford where the Olympic Park is.  This is one site we will definitely be returning to.
