Just spent a perfect 4 nights in October, blessed with warm sunshine. The beautiful Chestnut trees on the site were full of squirrels and green Parakeets - and Mr Fox was a regular visitor. It felt as if we were in the heart of the country, but in fact the station was 5 minutes walk away, and the frequent train service took about 20 minutes to reach London Bridge. From there you can catch a tube easily if you want to visit further into London - we spent time at Hampstead Heath, Hyde Park, Oxford Street, Soho and Camden Town. We felt safe and secure at all times on site, a real bonus as we don't know the area at all. The wardens were all super friendly and helpful. We'll be back, hopefully annually!
