Lovely clean site, but a few issues. We now in peak rate and one of the toilet blocks appears to be permanently closed. The site is full. There's a large queue for the showers in the morning. No-one knows why the 3rd shower block is closed. Wifi is pretty much unusable when the site is full. The club charges a premium for the wifi but does not have the capacity to provide a usable service. Not good! Location is good for day trips to central London - about 45mins on the train. Site is well cared for but another drawback is where the site maintenance goes on over the weekend. I come here for a rest and some peace and quiet, but right next to me someone has a powerful hedge trimmer and its very very noisy! Can't this be done on weekdays? Staff are friendly. The site has a small shop. Its so small it only seems to sell icecreams and fruit pastels! But there is a coop 12mins walk away. Shame they don't stock food items on site.
