Having just read a review from August, I total disagree with it. We have been several times to this site and the staff have always been friendly and very helpful. We went when the beast from the east was on and the staff were worried when we didn't show up on time, due to accident on M1. I call that caring. The site is always clean and tidy. The facilities are kept very clean and warm. I take getting to a site my responsibility, we go via Woolwich ferry when running or Blackwall Tunnel, if you don't want to pay Dartford crossing. We were there last week on a family emergency. We found we had a puncture on the van just as we were leaving. We did ask some advise as our spare wheel is under the van and we couldn't get it out. The staff member didn't hesitate to come and have a go with us. As none of us could get the bolt loose, he left but came back with another member of staff and tools and managed to get the wheel out. They even offered to change the wheel for us, which we declined. But I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU for their help, especially as it was pouring with rain. Sorry we didn't get your names. I think this site is great so near London. It's always busy and of course there ARE sirens going at all times in the area, but it is a city. I've never found this a problem. Great site
