Lovely Small Site

We just spent a lovely couple of days here dispute the weather. The site is small, clean and tidy with great facilities. Andrew is extremely friendly and will accommodate requests if he can.

Perfect In Everyway

When we arrived we were greeted as though we were great friends. The site is incredibly well kept. Every pitch is very spacious. The kitchen area and showers all very clean with everything you need. The showers also have some power to them and are wonderfully hot. My dogs loved the off lead area and the gentle walk to the pub which serves good food and a good pint. Will definitely be back. Thank you Andrew

Brilliant

A beautiful site, Andrew offers a lovely welcome to every new arrival and an introduction to the area sharing lots of information on local walks and days out. The sites well thought out and laid out to give every pitch lots of space, and beautifully maintained and the facilities deserve a five star rating. We loved our Bank Holiday weekend and will be back.

One of the Best

I have been caravanning for around 45 years both in the UK and Europe. Having just returned home from a ten night stay, I have to say this is the first time I have been moved to write a review of a camp site. Andrew Wrisdale, could not be more welcoming, friendly and attentive, skills he maintained from the moment we arrived until the time we left. He is only too happy to speak of the local area in which has grown up and worked, his stories are very interesting. If you are looking for a small quiet site, with good access to many places of interest, probably the best dog exercise area to be found on any camp site, has the availability of many circular walks and a good pub just a short distance away, then this is a site well worth considering. The pitches, toilets and showers are excellent.

Great 4 day break

Would just like to echo other reviews on the quality of this new CL site. Andrew is a super friendly host with encyclopaedic local knowledge. He has made amazing progress since he opened last year to create a lovely, high quality, adults only, dog friendly cl in a lovely location. The 'wet room' style bathrooms are great, dog field fantastic and it is very well located for access to walks galore, a reasonable pub and access to other places in the area. However, can only give 4* overall as the bins in the bathrooms and the main general waste on site needed emptying more often. Know it depends on collection days by the council but commercial size bin would help immensely rather than domestic size. No doubt it's on a 'to do' list! Still 'work in progress' with all the plans Andrew has in mind but we wish him well for the future and would recommend the site without hesitation.

Few days away

Returned to Yew tree farm . As always a warm and friendly welcome from Andrew. The site is lovely and well maintained. The enclosed dog field is brilliant. Plenty of lovely walks from the farm. We walked to Cleethorpes with our greyhound. Plenty to see and fo . We went on the small railway . AA Taxis have some taxis and drivers that are dog friendly so we used them to return to the site . Phone 01472 696969 . Fantastic meal in the Crown &Anchor but would advise to book . Andrew is in the process of building a barn type building for groups to get together . Will definitely be returning again
