Ease of arrival/welcome

Very disappointed

We had heard a lot of positives about this site, however the reality is that currently there are development works taking place which caused some noise, when we arrived the roofers had radio blaring out and singing along in a rather loud and not so tuneful manner. The pitches are very uneven so if visiting bring plenty of blocks, there was also a strong smell of sewerage on the edge of the touring site. The toilet facilities are shared with the visitors centre and cafe which can lead to long waits. At £20 per night and then £5 a night for electric we felt this site is very overpriced for what is on offer for the tourers. One positive experience was The Millers Breakfast in the cafe it was great with good service
