We have just returned home from a long weekend at this site. It’s very well maintained and the owner Mr Billings is friendly and helpful. We found the pitches were well spaced out with a pleasant outlook. Although there is a nearby cement works we didn’t find the noise too intrusive and was actually helpful as we followed the cement work signs to get to the CL. The site is conveniently situated for Carsington waters and Ashbourne, If you drive a little further you can explore Bakewell, Chatsworth and Matlock. We had an excellent time despite the weather and can’t wait too visit again.
