Ideal site - warm welcome
We visited this CL originally for 10 nights 19th May - 29th May. Unfortunately after travelling from Cornwall we broke down 3 miles from the site and had to be recovered there by Greenflag. We let Mr Billings know and he came out to check we were ok.and offered to get us any essentials like milk etc. The site was lovely, flat, quiet and well kept with very easy access. There is a convenient shared water supply between two caravan pitches and reliable 16 amp electrics.
There is a convenient wooded dog walk nearby (access by a short roadside grass verge which Mr Billings kept trimmed). Both Mr and Mrs Billings were very friendly and helpful. We had to extend our stay by 9 days until 7th June awaiting a spare part for our car. In all, we spent 19 enjoyable nights there.
The CL is within easy reach of Matlock Bath (Heights of Abraham cable car), Cromford Canal, Crich Tram Museum, as well as the magnificent Peak District. We would highly recommend this CL. We definitely hope to return at a future date (without the car trauma!)
