We’ve returned again to this charming little cl and in these strange COVID times found a small piece of normality. The site is peaceful and convenient to Ashbourne and Carsington water . Further afield is Matlock, Rowsley and Bakewell.There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket in Ashbourne and the CAMC Carsington site is nearby for replacement gas canisters. I like this site for its simplicity. There are 2 hardstanding pitches , 3 grass and taps between each 2 pitches, 16 amp hookup, easy access from the road and fresh eggs available . There is information available by the gate and if you require more information the site owners John and Rose are very helpful. We will definitely return again.( If you look on google earth there is a cement works nearby but it really doesn’t impact on your stay as the lorries go the other way and there is no noise pollution from them.)
