Babbling brook

A lovely peaceful site beside a babbling brook. I was the only person there for my four nights stay. I slept with my window open to take full advantage of the brook babbling. Friendly owner. I only have a 2l estate car but had no problems getting off the site though the owner had offered tractor assistance if required 🙂

Great CL

This was a great CL that we stayed at June 2021. Really friendly owner. Spacious field, we had only 1 other unit occupying it. Great walks from site. However on leaving we did have slight difficulty getting the MH up the slope, as we were parked at the far end. Otherwise great stay.

Peaceful and easy stay

We stayed at Woodgate Farm for five nights in September 2019. The weather was good, which added to the experience. The site is about two miles from Church Stretton, down a narrow lane. The site itself is a large, quiet field which slopes down to a more level area. This is where the EHUs are, as well as the water tap, rubbish bins and chemical toilet disposal. As the weather was dry, there were no problems, but I can imagine that in very wet conditions it might be tricky to get up the slope. The site is well located for the tourist attractions in the region - Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Long Mynd, etc. are all within half an hour's drive. Church Streeton has a reasonable sized Co-op, some nice pubs and eating places and some interesting local shops. We had an extremely quite stay - no noise in the field at all and good, starry skies.

Great location

We have recently returned from a long weekend on this cl. It was very easy to find and access is ok.Perfectly situated for Much Wenlock or Church Stretton . There are plenty of walks nearby including a path from the back of the site. This really is one of those cls that you don't want to recommend because you want to keep it to yourselves! You will need levelling blocks.

Fabulous Site

Fabulous Site right at the bottom of Hope Bowdler Hill, great walks & pubs to call into dogs all tired out. A lovely site although not level not a problem, but really quiet! Be going again this year.
