We booked for 3 nights and stayed 6 something we have not done before. The site was immaculately kept and the grass well cut and a lovely friendly owner who sanitised all the taps, dustbin lid handles and gate handles every day. We had one of the two new hard standings that have been put in this year, a generous size and plenty of room to swing in without going on the grass. The recycling facilities were comprehensive and the chemical waste was the best I have seen on any CL. We will be returning.
Our first CL stay, oh my word. One word - silence. Bliss.
We only stayed here 1 night and this was our first CL stay, my word what a great choice. We were enroute to Northumberland and needed a stop over so a hook up was all we required.
The silence was deafening! This I loved. We were hoping for a clear sky as it would be a great location for star gazing.
Super clean / tidy and well connected for access to pretty much everything in Northallerton which is a lovely town. Plenty of space for manoeuvring and a level hard standing. Grass also available.
Great communication for booking and on the day of arrival with a instructions via text and a visit later on that day to check all was ok. Also exchanged a few emails about local pubs in case we wanted to go out for dinner.
We went and collected fish and chips from what has to be one of thee best chippies I’ve been to in a long time - White Horse Cafe, and if you like scraps just ask!
Lovely host and immaculate site
We have just returned from a long weekend and can’t praise this CL high enough. From the very warm welcome from your host Julie, to a spacious, well kept site with lovely views, this is the ideal place to relax and unwind. The pitches are extremely spacious and the waste and service facilities are beautifully kept. There is also a separate paddock where you can exercise your dog off lead. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked a return visit.
Excellent site with lots of space
We stayed here for a few nights and its one of those sites that you wish you were staying at for longer.
Huge field with a mix of hardstanding and grass. Very well kept.
Stunning views and we were lucky enough to see some stunning sunsets.
Bins and waste disposal area was immaculate.
It was very easy to get to and access was no problem.
Will definitely be on our to go back to list.
We dont have a dog, but there is also a separate fenced off field if you do have dogs

Friendly welcome
We stayed at Wiske Moor for 3 nights in August 2020 - the site is beautifully kept, a level field with a few lumps and bumps that are easily worked around to get levelled up. Access from the road is straightforward. Pitches are well spaced, and the water and waste area is clear, clean and has lovely flowers! Julie got in touch on our arrival day with additional instructions for finding our pitch and came up to welcome us when we arrived. She popped up to the site each day - we didn't have any other issues or questions but she was very friendly and easy to get in touch with if we had done! We were in the area for an event, and will definitely make an effort to return to this site next time we're in the same area. Lovely site, lots of care and thought into making it welcoming!
Excellent CL
We stayed here for three nights in June. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and have obviously put a lot of effort in to this CL. There were plenty of well spaced EHU points and the grass is nicely mowed and the clippings removed. A previous reviewer mentioned the bumpy surface which it is in places, but it's not a problem, more a feature than a fault! There were good views all round and TV reception was good. Spectacular sunsets when the sun shone!
The facilities were excellent and the loo disposal point was particularly good. The CL is quite big and nicely fenced off from the rest of the farm.
If you like walking, turn left out of the site and very quickly you will find yourself on the Coast to Coast walk so you can walk as far as you like! We saw quite a few people doing it. The pub is in Danby Wiske about a mile or so away and seemed well used by the walkers.
Turn right out of the site and you can walk to Northallerton, initially on a wide grass verge past Strikes garden centre and then on pavement. The town is nice and well worth the walk. Strikes garden centre is also worth a visit.
So, a very nice CL which we wouldn't hesitate to return to if the opportunity arose. One other thing, when approaching from Northallerton, the turn off to the left is marked Danby Wiske, not Wiske Moor.
Very pleasant location
Missed the entrance to the farm and also to the CL. Maybe a brighter sign for the farm name and I’ll read the site instructions more fully in future. Good welcome & chat from owner Julie. Very quiet and peaceful. Parked carefully and didn’t need levellers. Watch out for dips or holes in the ground as you could turn an ankle. Good service point but I’d suggest extending the hardstanding along the full length of the services to improve access for motorhomes. Overall very acceptable and good value.
Immaculate new CL
Only been open a few months... absolutely lovely. We managed to level without ramps. Very spacious. Only 2 other vans on. Take your pick of pitch. Everything is brand new and immaculate. A lot of money invested. A lovely welcome from Julie and her daughter, who popped down the next morning with a half dozen of farm fresh free range eggs. Perfect. 10 mins into the lovely market town of Northallerton with Bettys Tea Rooms and loads of lovely pubs. Market on a Saturday. Distant noise of a train but didn't disturb us. Lovely views. We only live 40 mins away. We WILL be back

Success with support
A new CL and what a beauty. First time for us and enjoyed very minute.Fabulous views all around the site. Julie and family very welcoming. Only a few minutes drive into Northallerton which is a very good shopping centre. We will return again no doubt. Thanks.
Convenient for touring a lovely part of Yorkshire
We were one of the early visitors to this new CL and stayed for 5 nights (4 completely on our own) in our caravan in July. Very easy access to the site with plenty of choice of where to pitch up. The ground is undulating and we needed a small levelling block under one wheel. The waste disposal and water point are well thought out and a useful box of information provided. We were warmly welcomed by Julie and subsequently met her husband and daughter Kate,(who also sold us eggs from her chickens!) Wonderful views and the only noise was an occasional train and the baaing of sheep. The site is close to the thriving town of Northallerton - don't miss the busy market on Wednesday and Saturday and also visit Betty's tea rooms. Lots of interesting places in the area to visit and Northallerton Station provides links to Darlington, York, Middlesborough and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wiske Moor Caravan Park.
