A Gem

Where to start? The owners are really welcoming and friendly. The site is nicely presented and well maintained. It's peaceful. There is a lovely lake walk. Lots of wildlife. A pretty place and really good value for money.

One of the best

Great owner with a great welcome. Large spacious pitchen in well maintained grounds. Fishing available. £9 per night plus metered electric which was more than fair. We used less than £1 in 2 nights. Clean WC about a minute walk away. We cycled to Great Yarmouth which was mainly on cycle routes, about 5 miles. Burgh castle about a mile away. Shops and pubs in village nearby.

Lovely site

This is a lovely site, plenty of space, level grassy, sheltered from the road. Great recycling (not all cl's are good at this). The electricity meter cards are a brilliant and fair concept. This means you only pay for what you use and this helps to keep down the pitch fees. We only used £1.62 the whole weekend and with pitch fees at £9 pn this made it an extremely good value site. Well done to the family owners. Who I might add are very helpful and friendly. (I'd rather keep this site a secret so we can book again in the future)

Beautiful

On our approach we texted the owner to let them know we was about there and was sent the code for the gate and told to pitch up anywhere. Once set up the owner came down and explained where everything was and put us £5.00 of electric on the meter.  It is a spacious, flat and enclosed site which protected us from the heavy winds that week. The toilet is in a very small tin shed but works fine. There are onsite walks which are very pretty and you get to see lots of wildlife I saw a kingfisher and 2 small deer to name a couple. The site is 10 min drive from Yarmouth and you get a local map showing places of interest from the site.  The electric cost us about £1.00 a day which I was happy with.  All in all it was a lovely place to stay and we will go again when the sun shines next time. ??
