We chose the site because we were en route from Forest of Dean to the London Abbey Wood Club site and wanted to visit Brooklands Motor Museum. It was ideal and a beautiful peaceful location. We did not notice aircraft noise. Some distant motorway noise but not intrusive and did not detract from the surroundings. Well maintained basic site with flat grassed pitches and ideal for us as we have everything on board and did not require the EHU. Martin, as has been said, is a very attentive and welcoming host and was most helpful. The centre of Hersham is an easy and pleasant walk with shops, bars and restaurants. We hadn't realised how handy it was for other attractions such as Hampton Court Palace. Due to our schedule we only stayed one night but next time will extend our stay as it provides an ideal site for a "rest day" if you have a busy touring schedule. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and highly recommend it.
