We were so looking forward to staying at Wild Slack Farm, my Grandmother was born there in the late 1800's. We were not disappointed. It's a fantastic location and what a lovely welcome we got. The pitches are well kept with great views, the facilities are basic and clean. It was nice to have the use of a washing machine as we were away for a long time. There is so much walking in the area, and plenty of places to visit. You can walk into Lealhom, a charming moorland village. Try The Board Inn, a friendly local with excellent food. I had Wild Slack duck breast, you couldn't get more local than that. We wish we'd booked the site for longer, next time we will.
