Farmer Martin is a hero
My Mum and I got terribly stuck on Stonegate hill but our host came to our rescue. We had taken a wrong turn in thick fog so his instructions weren't to blame. After he escorted us back to the site he kindly helped us to pitch up, providing wooden blocks to level us and lots of reversing advice. The site was peaceful, clean and tidy and, when the fog lifted, had wonderful views. It makes a great base for exploring the local area and I'd like to go back, especially as I now have more experience with taking a caravan up an unexpected hill!
