I think it has all been pretty much been said by everyone about the site. Yes it's not a CL as in 5 vans but there is certainly plenty of room for everyone. The site is sloping but Martin is very helpful. We have only been out with our van on 3 previous occasions and it's a big twin wheel unit so I was a bit nervous about setting up on a slope  but Martin helped us set it all up in no time Whitby is around 9 miles away. A new park and ride has opened so it makes life easy.  Lealholm village is around 15-20 minutes away . The Board Inn is great for a drink and food. All very reasonably priced. Shepherds Hall tea room is great for coffee and home made cakes. They do Sunday lunch too but you would need to book for it.  The village even has a little shop and petrol station.  You can buy Eggs, sausages and pork chops from Martin. Have to say the pork and leek sausages were great and the pork chops extremely tasty.  Stayed 4 nights but could have easily done a week. Would love to go back soon
