This off grid site is located in easy access to the main A road via a sizeable lane. The last (barely metalled) access lane is about 400m and slightly uneven but really not a problem. For the most part, the only noise is chirping birds. Deer frequent along with squirrels, pheasants and dragonfly. The mix of the sea view and rural Devon fields and woodlands makes for a lovely setting. The site is essentially set on a 'dead-end' lane, however (slow moving) cars do pass the back of it from time to time with dog owners taking thier animals to the nearby woods for walkies. I'm no dog lover, but I can see that this site would be great for those who have them. Every town has them, so very occasionally you here the local boy racer charging through the A road, but it is very occasionally. Facilities are basic and functional consisting of a drinking water tap, assorted bins and a remote (well placed) waste disposal outlet with its own tap. The field is nicely attended to, its only very minor downfall is its holds the water slightly, so if its rained heavily for a few days, then I'd recommend access by AWD or 4X4s only but should be fine through the summer months. We've been here on our own for several days and I cannot understand why it is not more popular. Just a thought (or wishful thinking), maybe if the owner advertised it as 'no dogs and no kids' it would do better.
