We stayed on this beautiful site in the middle of February for a short break over the weekend. The owner was exceptionally helpful & friendly which was comforting to experience upon our arrival. The site has hard standing & more than sufficient space between each pitch which ensured privacy was assured. Fresh water & chemical toilet disposal is easily accessible & due to the freezing conditions the owners had turned the water supply off for the weekend & we accessed an alternative supply through their courtyard which was no inconvenience at all. The views over the countryside are spectacular & Hartington is circa 1 mile away which is beautiful & quaint with a cheese shop, a couple of coffee shops & 2 local pubs. The Tissington trail is literally 200 mtrs away via the access road bridge which is really convenient for walking to. It snowed on the Saturday & Sunday which made the stay even more special & the surrounding hills & countryside made spectacular viewing covered in white 'powder'. We are hoping to visit this site again next week, so can highly recommend.
