Found it.
Have been looking for a peak district bolt hole and have found it - Whitehouse Farm. Easy to find, easy access, even for a 4x4 and twin axle van (without motor mover...), wifi - a must with a gadget needy teenager....., tv signal, good walks, good pubs and good food, not forgetting the helpful, chatty but not intrusive Richard and Janet. sorry to have to leave early due to van issues but will we be back? Yes.
