What a lovely site. We booked here as we had a family gathering to go in Reddish and the 30 minute commute was so easy. Back to our caravan for gin in the sun on the picnic tables provided and a little hello from the horse in the field. Had to wait a little while to pay on arrival as nobody home so loitered a little as no email was received with pitch allocation or anything so we didn’t want to overstep. Got on with it in the end and walked back along to the house and paid when we noticed someone home. A quiet place, with a quiet owner, a sense of space and surrounded by tall trees on one side and fields and views in the other. Bordering Derbyshire hills which is perfect if hiking and cycling are your thing. We’ve found the spot we will return to when visiting family. Thanks for having us.
