Superb Site

The name wrongly suggests that this CL is part of a larger commercial site whereas it is a new, purpose built, high quality 5 van CL. Previous reviews have indicated the magnificent panoramic views – how many sites have their own viewing dial to explain the vista. Access by road could not be easier for towed caravans with a wide entrance to the site. Whilst the site is slightly sloping, caravans will be level side to side and only need adjustment on the jockey wheel. I would not imagine that there would ever be any problem in wet weather as the grass site is over stony soil – steel pegs may be required for awnings. What is evident is the care and thought that Claire and Ed have put into developing the site. The CL facilities are outstanding. Placing the electricity supplies in the centre of this large site allows greater pitching options, all with that panoramic view. There is plenty of space for children to indulge in healthy outdoor activities, particularly kite flying. Mention must also be made of the strong, free WiFi signal broadcast to all areas of the site. All of this plus excellent TV reception in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Claire and Ed are rightly proud of their CL and do their utmost to make sure that visitors have a memorable stay with many thoughtful features like a welcome pack and picnic table with a huge parasol. This very quiet, beautiful, rural site deserves to have many Caravan Club visitors.
