Beautiful, peaceful site with stunning views

Spent a great long weekend here in May and just booked our next stay! :-) The owners are so friendly and welcoming and full of useful local information. The site can be a bit windy, but the views are spectacular. They also have a gorgeous chalet on site fully adapted for the disabled (including ceiling track hoist).

Tremendous

Tremendous views over Dunbar to Bass Rock and the Fife coast. Downside is the 10 amp electrics keep tripping. Well worth a visit, we will be back.

Lovely CL

We arrived here just as some horrendous gales were starting and our motorhome certainly felt them as the site is quite exposed. The delightful owners wife apologised for them! She even offered to take us into Edinburgh when she was going there. The views over the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock were amazing as were the sunsets. The site is beautifully lawned and fairly level. There are some great dog walks from the site. As mentioned in a previous review the electricity supply can be a bit of a pain- use of an electric kettle not recommended! One minor gripe - the electric fence looks just like another strand of wire on the fence -I got a nasty shock from it when taking a photo. A warning notice or two on the fence would be good

Great View

Stayed here for 2 nights. Fantastic views across to Bass Rock. Very handy for Dunbar where we managed to park our motorhome in the car park near the tennis courts which was perfect for a walk along the coast and salt marshes. The farmers wife was very helpful and gave us lots of information about local attractions and places to visit. The only downside is the low voltage on the hook up which can be frustrating when it keeps tripping.

Stay weekend 4/7/15

We stayed at this CL site for the first time for 2 nights. First impression was wow. Lovely clean well maintained site really nice views. Dog loved the freedom of being able to sit outside the van without the need for being tied up. Great walks for him also. Farmers wife was very friendly and helpful with eggs and bread in a box at the entrance, didn't try as brought our own but next time will give the chicken or duck eggs a try. We don't normally return to a site as like to try other places but in this case we will be back again.
