Welcoming Pretty Site

Just spent Easter weekend here. The appalling weather did not spoil our stay. The facilities are spotless, all heated and well maintained. We were greeted by friendly owners and made to feel welcome. Site has hardstandings but as I was the last to arrive, we had to pitch on the grass. As I said the weather was appalling but the pitch stood up well to the deluge of rain.  Pub within walking distance serves good quality food. We intend to come back in the summer to fully appreciate the site.

This site ticked so many boxes for us that we booked again for next year.

An area that we have not previously explored and decided that it was time to do so. We chose West Farm as our site for a 2 week stay in June/July 2015.  Always apprehensive as to what the site was going to be like we needn't have worried at all.  A well organised arrival with well signed information giving instructions to park your caravan and walk to reception which is clearly signposted.  There is card facility for payment and after we had sorted the necessary payment we were shown to our pitch by the owner. The field has some hard standings and some grass pitches, slightly sloping but there are plenty of wood blocks available for leveling if required. The site is kept in immaculate condition by the very proud owners. On site facilities include toilets, shower, washing up kitchen, laundry room, fresh free range eggs and recycling.   We spent the best two weeks there that we could have wished for, there is a pub within walking distance, numerous walks, close to shops  and amenities all in all it couldn't have been better. We look forward to going back next year even though it is a 6 hour journey from home it is worth it.   Lets hope that we enjoy similar weather too as we were lucky to have had a heat wave whilst we stayed.

So Close To Home!

We stayed, with our twin grandchildren, at the farm for four nights 26-30 May 2014. Our first visit and an enjoyable one. Weather not brilliant and very pleased we could get the awning up. Lots of space for children to play and a really lovely site. The farm eggs are wonderful and recommended. Only slight downside is there is definite road noise, at certain times, from the through traffic but having said that nothing that disturbed us enough to take away our enjoyment. Highly recommended.

Little peace of Heaven

Wonderfully tranquil, peaceful site, even the lovely animals looked relaxed. Everywhere beautifully maintained with wonderful large pitches, much flatter and prepared than some other sites. Very clean facilities and with added extras like free use of the DVD and Book library, which was appreciated. Lovely fresh eggs very competitively priced. Beautiful setting in a lovely area very easy to reach Bournemouth. Site owners very friendly. Wonderful stay

Lovely peaceful CL

We stayed for a week in early December 2013 whilst working on our house.  The CL is set in peaceful surroundings on the outskirts of Verwood with good shopping, restaurants and pubs within a couple of miles. We would particularly recommend the local Italian restaurant, Venice.  The site has good facilities, although we only used waste, water and EHU as we use our own shower. The owners, Penny and Roger Froud are welcoming and helpful and have clearly worked hard to produce and maintain an excellent example of a really good CL.  We will definitely visit again.

MUST VISIT

A warm welcome, beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet. Our 3 year old grandson enjoyed it more than we did, and we thought it was fantastic. The farm animals, the space and the general tidiness and well kept grounds were a real pleasure. The green caravan - used as a childrens play house - was a source of amazement for a three year old. We will return.

Outstanding

Immaculately maintained, peaceful, and pleasant. You can tell this site is owned and run by a club member. The owners attention to detail is meticulous with every conceivable need catered for. The site is almost level and some plots will require the use of levelling blocks (even these are provided and were found stacked neatly next to the plot we were allocated). Our children especially enjoyed borrowing 'Shaun the Sheep' from the very well stocked children's and grown ups DVD library. We have a large twin axle van which looked lost in the very generous, spacious and open plot. We will definitely use this CL again.
