We have stayed at Weatheroak quite a few times now. It is an absolute gem of a CL site, so peaceful, and we always feel chilled at the end of our stay. Graham and Judith are lovely, hard working people, always willing to chat and making sure everything is ok. Access is gained through a coded barrier and along a gravelled drive. The site has 5 very large gravelled pitches and each one has electricity, water and waste water drainage. There are separate ladies and gents’ toilets and a separate block with shower room, toilet and wash basin and washing-up facilities. There are also picnic benches if you don’t want to get your chairs out. There are 6 well stocked pools which we love to walk around, especially of an evening. The fish seem to know that the fishermen have gone home and you can often see them cruising around the lake - and there are some whoppers! The fishermen are very friendly and are happy with the lakes. There are several walks close to the site and our favourite takes us up through Chaddesley Woods, down into Chaddesley Corbett where we buy a newspaper and then into the pub for lunch! Rowberry’s Garden Centre is just down the road as well. We can’t praise this site enough and just hope that we can continue to be able to get a pitch when we want to.
