Peaceful site

We stayed at Walkeridge for two nights on our way to Dorset. It is a lovely, well kept field with electric hookups and a clean and well lit toilet at the end. There are lovely views and access to a footpath from the field. The owners are so friendly and laidback. We went to the Vine at Hannington and had a wonderful meal. It is very much a village pub, and everyone was so friendly. It was a real treat! We sadly left after the two nights to continue the rest of our holiday.

Brilliant Site we will be returning

This is a lovely peaceful site with stunning local scenery, we came upon it by chance as we needed to be close to Basingstoke hospital which was an easy 20 min drive. It is well kept and so peaceful, we will return for a proper holiday break in Hampshire in the near future.

Superb - What a find, especially as we are local!

Wonderful situation. Came upon this site quite by accident and wow - first class (especially as we are only 40 miles from home!). Lovely countryside walks, plus a good walk to the local pub. If you enjoy wildlife - butterflies in abundance (the farmers, collectively, have clearly taken onboard global warming issues) and birdlife a joy to watch. Owners are lovely. From our perspective, with a camper and awning staying for more than a couple of nights, the only improvement would be water to each pitch - but this is a very minor point. We will return. Thank you for sharing your country life with us.

A delightful secluded and peaceful site.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this site and we will be returning. It is delightful. The large field is beautifully kept, with huge open spaces for each van. There are electric hook ups and water available plus the expected grey and black waste disposal. The toilet ‘shed’ corner of the field was spotless with hot and cold running water, soap and paper towels, quite a surprise. The owner and host is such a genuinely nice man, very welcoming and clearly cares about his site and its visitors. It is so peaceful with many walks and cycle routes starting both from the site itself and close by. I would definitely recommend Walkeridge Farm to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxed break amongst beautiful scenery.

Lovely site and very helpful owners

We stayed here for 2 nights in May as we were visiting the Bombay Sapphire distillery and wanted to both be able to enjoy the gin tasters! The owner and his wife are friendly and lovely and very easy-going so would definitely return....not just to go to the distillery!

Lovely weekend

Had a lovely weekend at this marvellous site. Clean toilets and peaceful site with lots of viewing of the local wildlife especially the red kites. Owners are lovely people and relaxed. Kingsclear is only a short drive or walk away with a lovely coffee shop and butchers all in all a fantastic weekend will definitely return. Dave and Annette

Beautiful and tranquil.

This is a small site with the basic ...electric,water and toilet. I go back year after year for the tranquility and peace. The owner is very approachable and friendly, with nothing too much trouble. There are many fantastic walks, with views to enjoy. The red kites are regular visitors, as are owls which I heard the other night! The sky is so clear, its stunning! I love this site......its like getting away from everything.

A great site.

This is a large, slightly sloping site with electric hookup for all 5 units. 4G signal strength on O2 is good. There is a 30-40 min walk (off road) to local pub (not open on Mon-Tue). Owner is very friendly. There is a microlight field next door but the engine noise only last for a few minute and not very often.
