Well kept site which feels like part of the owners garden with expansive views of Exmoor of which we never tired. Nice get away from it all site but not too far away from places of interest such as Gardens, RHS Rosemoor and Marwood Hill gardens were beautiful, Exmoor is good for walkers and cyclists, we liked the Doone valley area. Tarka trail 15 mile disused railway cycle route is flat and easy from Great Torrington to Barnstaple through varied scenery with an excellent tearoom at Fremington Quay. Coast and beaches are within easy driving distance and are wild and rugged or hidden coves of sandy beach. We had two weeks in June 2014 and did not want to leave, we will definitely go back.
