Overall a nice well cared for site.

Well kept site with all hard standings with water & electrics on each pitch. The site is by the Forth & Clyde canal so walking to the Falkirk wheel is a bonus. The site is well located to break your journey north. We stayed a week on the way north & another week on the way back. Not so good points: The approach can be tricky at the bridge which is askew, we took our time with the wife watching the back & we made it without incident. To be fair once used to it its not so much of a hassle. There is some road noise from the road the other side of the canal but not too intrusive. The water pressure seemed too high? I connected direct to the water with the proper blue hose to aquaroll & ballcock. After a couple of hours the pipe burst, i thought at first the pipe was faulty but 2 others suffered the same fate. I would presume a water pressure regulator could be fitted? Although we didn't have an issue some folk did. You need to take care entering the site through the gates. There is concrete then you are onto stones. Many people were losing grip on the stones. A remedy would be to extend the concrete?
