Lovely site.

We really enjoyed our stay here which was end of the August beginning of September this year. Carys made us very welcome on arrival. There are no facilities, but we always use our own anyway! The field is very flat with good drainage - as mentioned in another review the grass is kept short all around the inside of the site for a quick dog walk. The views of Red Wharf Bay and the mountains are stunning. There is a pathway down to the bay, which we used. We also walked down to the bay (and pub) along the road and that only took ten minutes - a little longer on the way back! We haven't been to Anglesey before and really love the place with lots of hidden bays and villages all round the Island. All within easy reach. We hope to visit again next year.

good site

my wife and I have just spent 8 nights upon this site(2/9-10/9-17).we found it easy to find and easily accessible. The pitch was spacious and included water and electric and a tremendous view across to red wharf bay which is only a short walk away. There is a purpose mown dogwalk around the perimeter of the field which is ideal.Places of interest upon Anglesey are within easy reach,Anglesey being a really lovely place. There is some traffic noise from the main road to Bennelech, but becomes unnoticeable when inside.Overall a very good CL,only the fact that we live in the north-east prevents us from visiting on a regular basis.A credit to the owners who seem to have put in a lot of hard work to get it up and running.

Lovely site great having our own water, spectacular views across the bay, lovely walk down to the bay.

Lovely site there is some road noise in the day but that does die off later in the evening. The site is very well kept and the views are lovely, having your own water supply is great. Short walk down to the Ship Inn and the Boat house cafe/ restaurant. Well placed to explore the rest of Anglesey, we would definitely go back. There are no facilities, so some people may be put off with no shower or toilet. We loved it

Lovely Location

Great location for touring Angelsey . Lovely site with views to the distant mountains and over Red Wharf bay. Nice flat pitches on well mowed grass and the added bonus of water on each pitch. Owners very welcoming. The only downside which has been mentioned before is the road noise. As we don't experience this at home it was probably more noticable, you do get used to it though but will put some off. This won't put us off using this site again if we visit Angelsey.

A little gem

From the moment we arrived and saw the view we felt the magic of this site. The welcome was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for Carys and Steve. You could relax on site but had easy access to everything Anglesey offers. The grass was kept well and the water to your pitch was a bonus. I want to keep it a secret but that wouldn't be fair.

Lovely views but....

There is no denying the wonderful views and good location of this CL, but we found the noise from the road intrusive. Very nice to have a water and waste at each pitch but we thought that the pitches were too close together. It wasn't full at the time of our visit may be uncomfortable when all pitches are occupied. Nice welcome from the owners who have obviously spent a lot of money on the site. A bit pricey too for a CL with no facilities, our dearest one ever!

What a little Gem

Lovely new in 2016 site. Everything is spot on and walkable to great coves, beaches and pubs with decent food. Butchers, food shopping, chippy, fuel etc all within a few minutes drive. I cannot fault this site or the lovely and helpful owners. This is now in my favourites list for regular visits.  Water tap on each pitch is a big plus and the price is the same as elsewhere as you don't pay for awnings, dog or silly add ons that others charge for. Stop looking. BOOK IT

Scenic

Beautiful views; handy for eateries, beach, pub, walks. Warm welcome from Carys & Steve. Well tended field with water on each pitch and easy access. Toilet &/or shower usually expected for this tariff - sorry.
