We have just returned from a week on this amazing site, very large well manicured fields, one with the pitches the other facing the great café with a children's play area. Although not the height of summer, Snowdonia looked impressive with snow covered tops. the site was quiet whilst we were there apart from the occasional jet trainer from RAF Valley certainly noisier in flight than the Barn Owl that graced the site but both welcome attractions. As other reviewers have said the site, café and museum are all superb, this is no doubt due to the friendliness of the entire family and the effort they each put in to make you welcome. I noticed a previous reviewer commented on the lack of a water supply to wash the toilet cassette, this is not now the case, a hose was available to rinse out the cassette, someone else wondered whether it would be noisier during school holidays, we were there at this time and the play area is far enough away as not to disturb the Caravaners. All in all I cannot recommend this site highly enough and look forward to staying here again.
