Quiet Site and Accesible

Fantastic site, room for five caravans and all with electric hook ups. I didn't use the free wifi as my O2 mobile worked on 3G. I was able to get BBC HD and most other channels on digital. Nice owners and very polite. There is no noise from traffic and almost pitch black at night time. Close to Criccieth which is a small village with a castle, beach and a Award winning ice cream shop. I recommend this site.

Clean and tidy site

A nice tidy site with very clean toilet. Ample space for 5 vans and good access to the peninsula and Snowdon etc. The only problem we found was nowhere to walk the dog directly from site, the lane being rather too busy to walk comfortably. We also clouted our caravan on the turn into the site but that was probably our fault as our outfit is rather long :o(

Beautiful spot

We are a family of 5 and stayed here for 7 nights over the recent half term, having booked in advance a few months ago. Finding the site was simple and access is very easy round the farm house. The site is made up of a single gently sloping field (levelling blocks are available), with hookups on bollards round the edge. The grass seemed well drained (no mud) and was kept mown with no sign of clippings. We pitched in the top corner looking down the hill and had sun almost all day round. The water and waste points are at one side, near to a single simple but very clean toilet. During our stay, the site was fully occupied every night, but the field is big enough to accommodate all without feeling crowded. In fact, apart from all the children on site playing, the site is very quiet, being a mile or so from the nearest main road. The situation (for us) was great with quick access to Cwm Pennant, Criccieth, and Porthmadog with the rest of the peninsula, Snowdon and the Canaerfon, Conwy and Anglesey locations less than an hour away. The owners were very friendly and helpful (not that we had any real need for assistance). A great time and would recommend to anyone!
